Overview
Iba no Sakakudashi Matsuri is one of Omi’s unusual rituals. A large group of young men hauls three mikoshis (shrine floats) down the steep rocky slope from Sanposan Shrine at the summit of Mt. Kinugasa, to the massive torii gate at the foot of the mountain.
